Morningstar is host to the "Canadian Tour" . This championship length course possesses a unique blend of link-style holes-- open fairways with beautiful rolling mounds, fairway and green-side bunkers and enough water to demand careful club selection from high and low handicappers alike.   Morningstar´s distinct links-style target landing areas emphasize the importance of accuracy, though length is also needed to reach several green in the regulation number of shots.  With expansive bunkers, hazardous lakes, challenging fairway mounding, and huge rolling greens, this course will keep golfers mentally alert (or else they will pay in strokes).  Golfers at Morningstar will also find it particularly challenging to play in the face of the prevailing westerlies that sweep across the Island. In fact, during one Canadian tour event, many of the pros had to hit two woods into the wind in order to reach the green at the par-four 18th!
